Everyone has got lazy in this winter. From a couple of days it has been too cold to do any activity. Routine activities are getting disturbed as the water gets frozen in taps at night *Sigh*. Those who are experiencing this can only share the agony. Quetta is a beautiful city and we do enjoy the views in winter but every beauty has its price to pay.

Why not to get a little energized? Here is an event all you have to do is register get your ticket and compete. PTV and FM 101 are also involved so I guess it really is worth trying! Either you emerge as the winner or you get to know what you lack in yourself to win. Apart from that a great activity for winter and holidays.

8 Bits in Islamabad

All of us enjoy watching videos produced by 8 Bits productions who are none other than students of BUITEMS or alumni I should rather say. All their work, purely raw talent forming shape gradually as they kept on making videos. Every video turned out to be better than the previous one! They kept working while they were widely criticized and demotivated. They stepped on the other side of line where no student dares to step and they told the world yes we can and they did it which no one else did. They competed with all Pakistan in Islamabad in 2010 and received an award for the video they produced.

With all that name they brought to BUITEMS today the way BUITEMS is repaying them isn’t satisfying me at all. A lecturer Taimoor Sarwar left BUITEMS this year and did not update or submit their result as they were repeating some course. Now the CMS, Dean and even VC isn’t co-operating with them! They all tell them same thing that this isn’t my task. Which is creating a risk for them that they might not get degree in this convocation as the gazette already didn’t had their name.  I wish some one takes care of this matter and supports them the way they stepped up and brought forth all their positive energies.
